HP L315 plug pulled

I'd like to know the probability of the printheads being fried on our HP L315 if it was not turned off properly?
A construction worker walked up and pulled the plug without us being able to power it down properly.
We would have removed the printheads before any of this but we weren't around when this occurred.
Now the printer has been sitting for over 2 weeks unplugged.
What should we do to bring it back up properly and possibly save the printheads (or should we just replace them all)?

If the printer wasn't printing, then the head was already parked in the cap tops/cleaning cartridge, then it should be absolutely no problem

Yes the printheads were parked.

It would be less wise to pull em out. Many units sit in the summer vacation for a month and come back to use as normal.

why would the printheads be a problem? plug it in a try it out.

(i'm scratching my head on this one trying to figure out what the problem is).

I was told by a tech that if the printheads are going to be out of service for some time or if you are moving the printer that it is best to remove them.
My intention has always been to plug it in and try them.

As far as the plug being pulled I doubt the heads suffered because, like others have stated, they were parked in the cleaning cartridge. However, leaving the machine powered down will cause problems. I made this mistake at the beginning of covid and had shut the machine down for about 3 weeks. When work ramped up again, I had to replace several of the print heads. Tech said that you should leave the machine on, so that it can go through it's periodic cleaning cycles. I have never had a problem since.

the hp machine is latex. which is water based. there's no need to remove the printheads.
