HPR2000 White Printhead not initializing (Contacts cleaned and still continued problem)

Okay so following my fuzzy registration printing being sorted I ran a cleaning on the printheads and closed shop. I did not put the white printheads back in their maintenance bay for the evening because we had intended on printing white today, and I figured less than 24 hrs would be fine to remain in the system.
This morning the printer said that the 2nd white printhead needed to be reseated. So I pulled it out, and put it back in. The printer then said that the contacts on the inside needed to be cleaned with a brush and if that persisted to clean the printhead contacts.
I did both. Several times... Looking inside the area where the head gets inserted it looks like some of the contacts do indeed have some dried white ink that I cant seem to remove. The machine says to use a brush but I never had a brush for this, just the lint free cloths.
Am I missing something? Or just doing this wrong all together. I'd like to really avoid having to call HP and tell my boss we have a ridiculous service bill to fix something I probably caused. One of the contact strips look as if its also slightly bent in and out of alignment. I never really noticed this, and im wondering if i just caused this problem trying to clean them. I was fairly gentle so i dont know how delicate they actually are, but im worried I just busted this thing and im staring down the barrel of a very expensive part replacement...

Seems like the pins have some ink and are stuck pushed down.
I would turn off the machine and pull out the PCA. Proper clean it with alcohol on the table and let it dry.

Then try again and swap printheads to see if issue is with the slot or printhead.

The cleaning kit came with a black toothbrush. Every machine had it.

I'm sure you're correct about the black brush. However, this is a used machine, and I've only been working on this machine for a few months. The current employee that has worked on it before doesn't know anything about the brush.

I bet a soft toothbrush from the store would work just as well yea?
And the PCA, do you mean the assembly that the contacts are build into?
