HS15 plus plotter and Convex?

Has anyone cut the convex 8mil vinyl with the 8mil over-laminate on the HS15 plotter? can it handle material thick? if so is there any special setup with the plotter? I am assuming I would increase the knife pressure but should it be slowed down? any other tips?

Any information at all would be appreciated.

This may be a rookie question but I am new to the plotter and Omega software. I know how to slow the plotter but to apply a double cut would this be something done in the software or would I just re-register and plot again. Thanks again for the reply.

Let me know if you get it to work. I've tried it several times, adjusted the Z axis, and still couldn't get it to work. Almost, but no.
