I it possible to change an XR-640 from 8 ink to 6 ink mode?

We're blowing thru white and light grey a lot lately on cleaning cycles -- is there a way to change the printer's mode to not use slots 7 and 8? I know to flush out the white really good and to put in the foam insert thingies -- and going to 6 inks will affect the color reproduction somewhat, but if we can save on two carts that'll be worth it.

You can do CMYKLcLmLk that should stop the circulation sequence on channel 7 and 8, very annoying that you cannot go 2x CMYK, light colors barely do anything except slowing your machine done by 50%
