Being a grandpa is more fun than working
So who else is sitting around the computer running on auxiliary power?
My generator took a dump last fall so now I have a car battery at my feet hooked up to an inverter. It's just enough for my Internet "fix" every so often, and to check email. Gotta keep those orders coming in.
Wood heat keeps us warm, and a flowing artesian water well gives us all the water we need...and even the potties don't fret.
30 miles west of here is anticipating power restoration possibly by Wednesday. By now, I'm sure the WalMart camping aisle is totally sold out of anything remotely useful. The local hardware store is sure making a sales pitch for kerosene heaters and such.
Well, I'm going to be powering down now...going to cut some wood and then work on the marketing plan. I'll be checking back later this afternoon.
