most of the time when I print greyish colored gradients the come out with a greenish tint.. but not all the time. Anyone have any idea what may be the issue? I'm using the Roland ColorWorks spot system.

Poor color management. Your gray balance is off and your neutrals are casted.

Time to reprofile.

If you're using the RolandColor spot system, profiling shouldn't matter. I'd bet that the colors aren't being saved correctly in the file. If you open the file in VW, and go to the <file management> tab, you should see all of the colors you called out as spot colors listed there. If none appear, you've got a problem with your design program naming the colors correctly.

If you are "Flatening" the file, sometimes you loose your Roland spot colors.
Just check them before sending to the rip.

Rolands technology is weak in the area of greys... you can fuss with it all you want, wont change that green tinge one bit.
