I'm a moron and I apologize again

Well everyone, I am a moron. It seems whatever the justification I may have tried to offer to myself or the forum as to why I didn't explain in detail I was using a logo design website, simply was me missing the larger picture.

The larger picture was my inability to see before hand my actions would be wrong. This seems to indicate my character is flawed, and possibly I have tendencies to take advantage of situations.

Truly, these are not traits I would want my children having and I hope by
everyone slamming me that I cam become a better person.

I can say honestly my intentions were not sneaky, I wasn't rubbing my hands together smiling, and thinking how I am so slick or whatever. I thought regardless of who was designing my logo, you all didn't mind giving feedback. Mr Diaz, did a good job of pointing out why it was still wrong.

Obviously the majority would rather me be gone from signs101. Just wanted to apologize again, and wish you all the best.

I'll stick around a bit longer to read the barrage I am getting. I am learning a nasty lesson. Then I will simply leave you as you were, but with some good joke material it would seem.

I must not have been paying attention. This place has plenty of f__k_a__s around, I is one. Don't go nowhere.

Nah, most people don't want you gone, you're just the victim of the day. Take your licks and it'll all blow over soon enough. You're gonna be alright, blame it on your worm, throw a ladder at it, and forget about it.

Almost tops the Corel / Adobe debate...but we have tough skin. Stick around...they might need your help for the next guy that comes along.

I don't want you gone. If you are new to some of this stuff, I wan't you to learn the right way of doing things. I also want you to have a better respect for what we all do. I want you to understand where we come from on these issues.

It all comes down to this... I prefer to have more people with us than against us.

At least you're man enough to apologize and admit the error of your ways. That's at least worth a second chance. Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone. And this is coming from an atheist!

I stay clear of drama as much as possible. Its all about the sign!

It takes stones to publicly apologize. I respect that. I still feel like you took advantage of a lot people, and that you should be writing Jill a check.

That being said, I'll be watching and reading to see where you go from here. Maybe you'll work your way out of the doghouse eventually.

Well, I don't know if you really mean it or not. I know when I say I'm sorry to my wife and say... I'm sorry for this or that, BUT I didn't......... it just got wiped out as a sincere apology. You can't make an apology and have conditions along with it... can you ??

Anyway, I'm glad to see you're trying.... or at least pretending to be trying [same kinda thing as your apology... halfa$$ed].

Time will heals all wounds. It also is a great way to watch things either come back again or go away completely, so let's hope you learned one of life's valuable lessons and another one here that at s101 we are a family and no one does that kinda stuff to my lil' sister. Pay up, man.

Whew!! I have followed all 3 threads about this, with anger, humor, horror, disgust, more humor, and here we are. I agree with everyone in THIS thread - screw up once, move on ... BUT screw up twice, be gone. I think you handled THIS thread fairly well, and took it like a man (I am assuming you are a man). Kudos for that, and tread lightly for a little while, and you'll be ok.

If your going to be writing checks, I would like to bill you for two hours of my time catching up on on all this.

I don't have any personal animosity toward you, but I do hope you get forgiven by these good folks. Mostly because there are plenty of rookies like me that need guidence and I would like for them to trust that the information they are getting from us is true and accurate without being suspicious because of experiences like this. The information availabe here is truly priceless, and events like this make everone realize that. Even the ones that contribute more than they take.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Tomorrow's Friday and the veterans will probably run into another first poster looking for advice on getting into the yard sign market with a budget of $2000 and their feeling of betrayal will start to wane as they tear them a new one.

I would like to hear the top 5 stories like this some time though.

I just read through the thread in question.

A great way to start to restore your reputation would be to pay Jill for her work.
You clearly know what a professionally designed is worth.

Talk is cheap.
