What are some good fonts to use on a police cruiser

Very beefy and solid looking styles. Nothing that looks wimpy. Many of them want a slight italics to them, so think about your lettering leaning over.

are they letting you do the design? go to bing.com or google and type in police car and click images and there are some that might give you some inspiration. as far as a good font, it depends on the town/city and what image they are going for.

Haven't done any but it seems to me they're almost always a bold, block sans-serif.

I'm designing. It's a black and white cop car. They want a stars and stripe theme with gold reflective.. It's been sorta a challenge for me to do this... been stuck on it for a few days.
