Importing ai files into corelx3

I have recently upgraded to X3 from Corel9. What is the most recent version of Illustrator that will import into X3?

umm..... any version of Illustrator will import into X3...this is a really goofy question....but I guess that is just me.

I normally tell people to save back to version 8.0, Unless I'm missing something rarely does X3 import all versions of AI up to C3, But rarely have issues if its saved back to Version 8.0.

What's your trick? I haven't had much success w/CS3 and I haven't seen or tried CS2... so CS works the best for us. I still get quirkie things happening every once in a while with fills and transparencies.



We bought the CS3 design suite to make sure everything stays the way it should.
