INK Fill

Depends on the way the head(s) are set up.

So, on a 6 head machine, FIIO, Toucan LT, you can syringe one color at a time from the bottom of the cap.

On a 2 head machine, FO Jr, you can syring K at one time, but only all three other colors from the bottom of the cap.

On a 1 head machine, most ValueJets, only 8 at a time from the bottom of the cap.

Hmm. I know I can do it with a syringe but I was thinking of the Auto fill. Its a falcon outdoor with 6 colors. (two heads) so you think it better to just pull each color needed from the dampers and then pull from the waste station?

on my mimaki JV3, you have the option to select 12, 34, or 1234 (as in printhead #'s).
BUT I do ink fills all the time on a single head by simply disconnecting the hose above the pump for the channels I don't want to run.

I'd imagine you could do the same, no prob. The printer thinks its running its normal cycle, but its really only drawing ink through the lines that are still connected to the pump.

Thanks guys. I guess I just do it the way I have been and pull to the dampers first then from the waste station. My problem is my freaking sensors only work half the time when the ink is low or out and the machine keeps printing and runs the lines dry!
