Ink limits don't seem right

Ok, I cant believe this is right.
I have all colors set at 70 and black at 50
Thats the only way I can keep "printed black" from pooling or bleeding. I know the black is a combo of all the colors.
But in order to keep the black in range, now my other colors seem to weak.. and aren't looking solid.
Anything I can try?
Should I try to set black to print from the black cartridge? Is there a setting to do that?

You need to search everything you can find here on profiles and profiling.

You are trying to set ink limits on the fly, and those are the problems you will have.

What it boils down to is you have to use a proper profile for the media.

I have the profile set for 3651

When I had color correction UNchecked my ink limits were more normal, but the colors were way off.
Now I have it checked and the colors are much closer.
