Installing 9.1 in windows 11

Good news, thanks in no small part to the kind advice from folk here in the forum and some local tech guys who live near by I have signlab correctly installed and the dongle behaving.
Some of you sent drivers, another in Queensland helped with the update to 9.1 and another forum member in Vietnam sent a driver that was compatible and a local techie Installed it.
Big relief, must do a backup and virus scan next. Big shout out to Signessentials in Queensland who showed great kindness even though I was not a customer.
I don't really like windows 11, but I only use it for Signlab so I will learn to live with it, and turn on all the privacy settings I can.

Be sure to check after an update, sometimes settings go back to their default for "some odd reason".

Really? Didn't know that, what a battle privacy is. Its much easier with android.on my phone, I use a degoogled phone installed with GrapheneOS.

Yep, not all that uncommon that configuration files swap back. Now, may only really have to worry about major updates, but I wouldn't put it past them to sneak something in a "patch" update.

Only going to get worse.
