I've said this before and now I'm saying it again!!!

Indy Imaging in Indianapolis, Indiana sucks. I don't know why I continuously give them chances to make good, but this is the last time we will ever use them for anything. Over the last couple of years, we've used them for a handful of odd print jobs that require specialty materials. Last week was no exception, as I ordered some static clings and a floor graphic. I sent the email to my sales rep with a pdf file titled 'floor graphic print and cut' and specifically requested a 'contour cut' floor graphic. The file has two layers, one labelled as 'print layer' and the other labelled as 'cut layer'. This is how I've been told to set them up in the past. How can it be any more obvious that this is a contour cut graphic? Well, needless to say, the graphic was not contour cut. I would be a bit more forgiving, however of the probably dozen or so jobs we've ordered from them in the past, they have screwed up easily 3 or 4 of these past jobs. Sure, they ultimately replace them, but that's hardly the point. We will be looking for a new trade printer and hopefully these constant hiccups will no longer be an issue. I've had it with these guys. I would strongly recommend never using these idiots.

I'm surprised. I've actually worked with Indy for a few projects and they've always helped me out. In fact, they hunted down materials they don't normally use on my last order to make sure I could do what my client needed.

Though to be honest, I've never sent them contour cut jobs.

I'm surprised as well...surprised that any one company could possibly screw up that many jobs for us. Maybe it's a case of bad luck, or a bad sales rep, but I'm done taking chances with them.
