Joining two light box faces?

Just wondering how people deal with two acrylic lightbox faces that have to join in the middle? Tape? I'm just worried about light showing through and the faces not being in one even plane.

I usually do too, but it's 21 feet. I don't feel good about installing one 21' face!

meh thats not too big...

but...

a 2" strip of CLEAR acrylic, fixed to one of your two acrylic panels with CLEAR VHB (1" on it, 1" jutting out) then CLEAR VHB the second piece to that 1" that is jutting out...shouldn't cast too bad of a shadow when lit

We usually do a routed lap joint. The clear acrylic backer strip works (we use resin bond to attach) but can still show a light leak.
