It can only be because I am leaving tomorrow for a weeks holiday.
I had a pump changed last week by a service technician for the magenta and now it works fine.
Today I have printed 3 or 4 jobs and everything looked fine...I then went for lunch and I was in the middle of sending a large bitmap file so since it was still ripping I put the printer into local mode until I returned and then hit remote, and it did it's thing. Print looked fine to me.
Now I just started a job and the colour is black and a gold. It looked awful so i stopped and did a print check and half my yellow nozzles failed to print.
I wonder how that coluld have happened so fast after printing other jobs with no issues.
I ran a 30 minute nozzle wash and it seems ok although when I do the print test I seem to be finding it harder and harder to see the actual yellow bars and wonder if it always has been this way or is it starving for ink. Yellow is tough to see anyhow but I never recalled it being this tough...maybe it is my eyes....
Could something have happened when the tech was here changing the magenta pump?
As I mentioned in an earlier post I have now 5 inks sitting at the 1 level and some have been this way for over a week and I still have not gotten an ink low warning on any of them...this is a concern to me as well.
I could put 5 new cartridges in I suppose just in case the low ink indicator is not working...
What you think?
