Got the head hight up..........looks like a high place is causing a head strike.............JMO

The last picture looks as though it could be in the banner material since it is in the blue and pink. I have experienced that before. Changed material.

I had that same type of thing happen with some glossy Ultraflex Banner. It was a bad spot in the material.

But it also could be a dirty Encoder strip.

looks like your pinch roller is sticking to me, hard to tell from that photo though.

Cut a piece out and rotate it 90 degrees.

If the defect follows the media, then it is in the media.

I never got back to this, thanks for your help. Cleaning the pinch rollers with q-tips ended up solving the problem!
