Mutoh Falcon Outdoor 46" The lever that you lift when you change the media won't go up. I have shut it down, lifted the lid, took the media off of the roll. I have 10 banners due today, can someone please help?

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

Take it apart and see what the problem might be. 4 screws hold the end cap on and then you should be able to see what's going on. It's not a big deal, just fix it.

I turned it off, lifted the cover, moved the print head to the right, while lifting the lever at the same time...this worked.

If the Print carriage was not to the right in the "Home" position then there are other issues than not being able to lift the handle. was the machine shut down in the middle of a job?

No, I guess it is a defect of Mutoh, I found it online...the lever just sticks after a while, and that is the fix.

Did you by any chance took the print heads cover off. I know this because when i was changing the heads i didnt put the cover back and same thing happened to me. Then i put the cover back and it worked.

No defect.

The carriage just has to be in the right place.
I think tomence is correct, it may well be a tab on that cover that pushes the mechanism to allow the lever to raise.
