LHF Fonts

About to purchase a few LHF fonts for the scrolls, ornaments etc but have noticed in a few I already have that the lines are rough and need to be redrawn. The ones I have were downloaded for free and I'm wondering if the fonts are any better when bought from the LHF site.

Considering any you have downloaded for free are more than likely pirated stolen copies, they have probably been hacked to remove the copyright info which also often can cause some corruption. There are not any "free" Letterhead Fonts that I'm aware of. They often have packages where you get a couple of fonts for free with a purchase but I'm not aware of any of their fonts being flat out free. LHF takes piracy pretty seriously, they will call you when you purchase, the fonts you buy also have your information embedded in them. And yes, legitimate LHF fonts are excellent not needing to be redrawn.

If you want decorations, scrolls, panels, etc. go directly to the source...

These are great collections. A lot of the stuff you see on LHF has been parceled out from the collections available at this site.
