Need help, I need a material that I can laser cut without having the yellowing effect. I need a film that is between .010 and .030 thick; it needs to be clear with a matte, velvet or frosted finish so that you can still see through it.
We are currently using Grafix Dura-lar .020, and it works, but it's not a matte finish.
These are used on business telephones to protect the designation paper that is under the film. Some phones use a hard plastic that is injected, we are looking for jus the thin film that we can cut with our laser.
I have tried these samples with no success:
JetView Polycarbonate
8B35 Lexan Polycarbonate
Polypropylene
Hazy Laser film coated polyester (not clear enough)
Thank you,
Joe
