(M) check ink.....

what does it mean when i see (M) check ink...

I'm gonna guess Magenta...remove cartrige, check to see if emty, if not replace back into slot, check to see if error message.

it's a brand new cartridge stright out of the wrapper....

so...did you remove cartridge and put back in to see if error message continues?

yes and it still comes back to (M) check ink

could be a bad cartridge chip. try another to see if it persists.

Is it OEM Ink?

yes it's a mutoh cartridge

did you pull the little silver round sticker off?

ok guys the problem was found.....when the cartridge gets low there is a little tab that come out. It hits a little switch to signal that the cartridge level is low. Well somehow the arm on that little switch flipped over and was locked in saying ink levels were low....so with a new cartridge it was saying ink near end....switch was replaced and everything is beautiful
