Magnet material...

What's the favorite magnet material.
I have been using the .030 Magnum.

Just checked with my supplier and was told there are a couple thicker versions up to .060 , but you have to buy four rolls at a time.
Don't need four...the last roll I got was in 2010.

Sure seems like the stuff used to be about twice the thickness I've been using.

use the same here. Yes it is much thinner than it was way back when. They have been able to make it thinner but with more poles, which makes it stronger. I rarely have a customer come back for a replacement due to it flying off the vehicle, like we did back even 10 years ago.

Magnum 0.30 feels the same as it did 30 years ago, if it feels thinner it's not 0.30
