Material bunching up in front of pinch rollers?

I'm trying to print on some non-backed flag fabric from Fisher Textiles and after about 8-9 inches it starts to bunch up in front of the feed rollers.

I tried applying application tape on the back and it still did the same bunching up (the heater is set to the lowest setting).

Any ideas how to prevent this from happening?

Hey phototec,

You didn't specify which Roland printer you're using, but if you have a model with a Takeup system, definitely use the Takeup. That will add tension to the front and rear of the material, likely keeping it flat and feeding forward consistently. Also, lower the printer's vacuum power.

Since we don't troubleshoot in user forums, if you want to continue this conversation, it's strongly recommended that you submit and official Roland support request online here: Product Support Form | Roland

We look forward to helping you and take care,
