Material for awning eradication?

Our first time we'll be trying eradication (on Arlon Signtech ColorKote).

We were advised to use toluene or some other solvent to eradicate, vs. the standard stuff which is very pricey. Any experience with acetone?

Any comments or tips on this? We are using paint mask, and other than leaving it white most of the way, we have one area where a printed decal goes.

After cleaning with the solvent, is there something else to do to clean the solvent off or you just let it evaporate?

(I did see the post about using the red rags, ughhh...)

Thanks!:thankyou:

use the right stuff. (come on Man) to eradication. You don't know what the utter stuff will do to the awning. is it bad for the person doing it once the two mix. warranties on and on and on.

use white Cotton rages or white paper towels.
