So, I received a banner request for a mesh banner. I went through B2 signs but their banners don't meet the requirements of the city where the banner will be hung. The requirements are that it has to be 80%mesh. It also has to have "approved" Hooks.

You can get it printed by whoever and take it t a awning company to get it sewed with approved hooks and whatever.

Never used either of these companies, but it looks like they offer the 80%.

UPDATE:
This banner is a net material (like a volleyball net). 80% VISIBILITY. The Letters are made of nylon and sewn on. They have hooks at the top and they are TX DOT approved. There is only one company in Texas that sells them. Dixie Flag and Banner company.
Apparently some cities require them.

I’d almost bet that company wrote the specs.

That’s an interesting set of requirements for multiple places to have, with only one supplier.

There’s a lot of big name contractors in Arkansas that ‘spec’ one-piece thermoformed acrylic ADA signage for hospitals/schools/etc…

And wouldn’t you know it, only one company produces those signs in the whole state, and they wrote those specs.

When you get to write your own rules, it’s almost like a whole new game. Monopoly is only fun if you’re winning.

man, I seriously 2nd guessed actually putting this information on here too. LOL

I wouldn't quote it. Sounds like it would be too much running around to get everything right since it's not something you normally do. I stick to my signs and truck lettering. Then again if you do it you could become the areas leading place to go for such banners.

What are you talking about? I quoted the customer for the banner. I mark it up and don't have to ever touch it.
