Having a problem with my Mac G4 computer locating my scanner, reloaded software, still nothing, all I get is a Error code =5, anyone ever have a problem with this, seems like the scanner is not on line, all cables are fine, just out of the blue this has happened, thanks again for the help...........:U Rock:

Turn off the scanner. Unplug the usb from the mac. Turn on the scanner, and then plug it back into the mac. From what I remember that was the order that worked for me, but it may be a close variation of that.
