Does anyone have any experience with the Mimaki CF2 flatbed cutter? I'm hoping to bring contour cutting in-house. When I try to outsource it locally in Chicago, the cost is too high and I can't compete once I mark it up. When I buy online, I have to buy a whole sheet so that doesn't work when it's a small order and when it's a larger image the freight is more than the print and cut. For now, I'm looking to cut vinyl, foamboard and coroplast. I would love to get the summa f1612, but it's out of my budget( Around $30k). Are there any other options?
