Mimaki CJV 150-160

Hey guys we recently bought ourselves a mimaki CJV 150-160 specificly to print Metallic colors. Also silver and white. But we cant do any of that. do you guys have any ideas? we are to the point of wanting to sell the machine

What exactly is the problem? The silver and white aren't printing? Not sure how to setup the files?

We Cant get it to print the colors at all

Did you set the printer up yourself or did a dealer tech? Am I understanding that the printer just doesn't print at all?

A Dealer set it up. We can get it to print normal CMYK but not the special metallic colors

What software are you using? You usually have to use spot color replacements or a special swatch chart in the design that will allow the RIP to render the file out to lay silver or white inks.
