Mimaki CJV30-160 Head Wash - Stopped?

Good day Folks,

Head washed the CJV30-160. After it went through about five minutes of wash, it asked for SS21 cleaning cartridges. I don't have so I turned off the machine. I have below messages after turning back on the machine.

Filling up isn't yet May I stop ? :enter (I click enter)
Choose an ink type. SS21 Sol (I click enter)
Choose an ink set. 4-Color(MMCCYYKK) (I click enter)
SS21-4Color -M-CY-K- (the end of the message, can't go further)

Any ideas to bypass? We are using our private label SS21 inks. All ink cartridges do come with a ss21 chip. It was printing well. We initiated the head wash because this machine was sold to a out-of-state customer.

For some reason the machine is not recognizing some of your cartridges. Try getting new chips and replacing the ones that aren't being read.

Also you need all 8 cartridges to perform the initial ink fill up. You can print with just 4 but the initial fill up requires all 8 cartridges.

If I take out one M Cartridge, move another one, put the first one in. It registers green. The chip should be in working order.

There is a way to trick the machine into thinking it is already filled up and you can then manually fill it up. I can't remember off the top of my head but you have to change one of the parameters. Call Mimaki support. They might be willing to let you know how.

Problem solved. Thanks to you folks. It was the chips for the 2nd set of cmyk. It is up running and ready to go to the new owner.
