I recently purchased a used Mimaki JV3 160 printer. I am new to this and have been reading everything on it I can find but cant find the answer to what I am looking for.
The machine was stored with cleaning cartridges in it. They are expired, the machine has cleaning fluids in the lines. I purchased new inks Do I just pull the cleaning cartridges out and put in the ink? I can't find anything that says how I go about flushing the fluids out of the lines.

If I remember on these machines. You will have to do an ink refill. Another question is, has the machine been left turned on whilst the cleaning cartridges have been in? If not the print heads will have dried out. This all depends on how long the machine has been left unplugged. SC

If the cleaning cartridges have fluid in them, I would run one of the types of flushs(may be called little charge; each printer is different). you really just want to get the print head to jet out cleaning fluid. after that then you need to bring the ink to the lines and there will be an option to do that. it will be one of the options in maintenance. at this point, you should be able to print. If you can't figure it out, let me know and I can get one of my techs to help walk you through it. if you need good ink for that printer or anything else, let me know, would love to assist.
