Multi Color Logos on Canvas

Painting lettering on canvas and sunbrella is not foreign to us. We letter 100% of the awnings that we install using benjamin moore aura using a vinyl stencil.

Recently had a customer bring us a popup tent cover they wanted us to test to see if we could paint lettering onto. Test worked out great.

A few weeks later the order comes in! 10 tent covers with instead of lettering a 5 color logo! I'm thinking the amount of time it's going to take to apply 5 stencils to each cover with drying times is going to be cost prohibitive. Thats 100 coats of paint if each color gets 2 coats.

I'm thiking of paint a field in white the shape of the entire logo and then applying the full color logo in vinyl over it. We did this once on an awning and im tempted to take the hike to see how it's holding up after a few years. I'm confident in doing it on a static awning, but my concern is every time the tent is broken down the fabric, paint and vinyl will flex at different rates and fail quickly.

Any thoughts?
