mutho 1204 spittoon pad info

hello all
to day i got a new spittoon pad for my 1204 mutho i did not change it for awail the new one looks the same
it has 4 little plastic revites in the middle of the pad # p-m-df-49698
my old one it's just pad only no plastic revites
did they change the design?

Yes the design changed. They found that the ink was not soaking fast enough and may have caused backsplash contaminating the print head. Hope this helps.
