It's only 13 months old- is this normal? Does it just go out all the sudden, or gradual? I was printing yesterday. thanks.

yep. is this something I should try to fix, or call a service tech? I gotta get back up and running.

yes... i took off all the casing and "wiggled" checked eveything. It seems to be in proper order. It turns on, displays vj 1204, revs up to move the head and then displays the code... to get a tech to my location is $1,500 plus parts.
