Need Help Mutoh 1608hs smart card unlock please help

Tried placing an order for mp21 inks through my supplier and was told Mutoh is no longer supporting the 1608 printers and have no smart cards in stock!!! Wants me to pay 900.00 for unlock code to unlock the chips.

Does anyone have this info on how to unlock?
