Ok guys here is the deal. I did some work for a customer who happens to have a Mutoh Falcon but i didnt ask for the size. It is eaither 36 or 48, but i dont care about the size the deal is he cant make half of the payment for the work i did and he is willing to let me have his printer, i did work for around $3000 so he owns me $1500. The bad thing is printer hasnt been used in few months and i noticed he has cartriges half full of ink still sitting in the printer. So what you guys think should i take it even if its not printing well and fix it or dont touch it. This guy bought the printer and a cutter as a package for a friend of his who wanted to be partners but his friend bailer out so he is stuck with this printer and also he doenst know how to work it and i dont think he has the software for it.

So he's not really stuck with it, there is always someone that will take it off his hands...

Are you willing and comfortable with working on it (or paying someone to)? Are you wanting to use or sell it? I know you want to get paid somehow so this might be your only option.

Never let one sit that long but I'd think leaving the ink in would be better than no ink at all (obviously having it properly flushed would be the best option). Personally I'd ask for a nozzle check and an actual print. Some call it a 48" b/c that's what size media it will hold but it only prints to 45.7ish".

I am palning to keep this printer i mean if i invest money into it i would like to use it. The printer in overall is in perfectc condition, no scrathces, no loose stuff it looks very good. And another thing is i know there is no software so what is the cheapest software to get to run this printer.

I sent you a PM with my phone number. If you decide you don't want to mess around getting it up and working and investing in it and software to run it, and you just want to get the Cash this guy Owes you, give me a call.
We live about 20 minutes from each other.

I would want to look it over before deciding of course, but IF I wanted it, youd walk away with the cash this guy owes you and we all go home happy.

Think about it.
