We are new at this so have patience please. Our Mutoh 1204 VJ abrutly stopped recognizing the pc ..after several support calls they feel it is the main board..$1315.00 and $1800.00 per day tech fee..Is this out of the realm of things?

The board price is about right.
The tech fee is ridiculous unless you are in the jungle or rainforest!
Takes about 30 minutes to change the board and maybe another 30 minutes to set it up.

1800.00 a day is nuts, where are they flying in from, Japan?
Go to the Mutoh web site and find a local dealer.
