When the VJ-1304 is in sleep mode is there a fan or something that continues to run?

I don't rmemeber the unit making hardly any noise at all when in sleep mode at first, but here lately it is making a "60hz hum" sounding noise eminating from the right side under the control panel.

It seems to me like it is getting louder.

Any thoughts before I call Mutoh?

Seen and heard it before in my experience it has been the fan that cools mainboard. Look under machine on the right and towards the back. On the 1304 I am not sure if it is visible if so yours might be fan about to go or just needs cleaning. Let me know when you find out

Machine is only a couple weeks old and shop is spotless so it shouldn't be dirty. May just be a bad fan.

This sounds fairly normal, we have two here, that exhibit something that sounds similar.

Certainly if it getting worse, it could be an issue.
