Mutoh Jr 38 error 74

I changed out the black head in my Jr (like I have hundreds of times) and the printhead did not go back to the home position and after turning it back on it is now kicking out error74. Anyone know if this would be an easy fix?

Did you thightend the screw that fix the head holder to the steel band?
If you use the head height knob does the head lift or does it stay at same height?
Clean the Time fence?
Head cables connected?
