Would anyone know what is causing these little spikes around the lettering. It's only on the black printing.

Color great! Black angled lines not giving a clean straight line.

My first thought is alignments.

My second is that this might be a coated material and with rich black you may be putting too much ink down too quick at too low a temp?

I thought it might be alignment but, on the falcon jr I don't see anyway to align the print heads. Is there another alignment adjustment that I'm missing? I have replaced both print heads and the black is the only one giving me the problem.
