mutoh plotter acting up

We noticed some smoke coming out of the new laminator this morning, and we opened up the side doors and we noticed what the attached pictures show. I took pictures of the upper heating element connection, which is yellow, and also the lower heating element connection which is fine and that is shown in blue.

No heaters in a plotter, but he could be talking about a printer.
