Need Help Mutoh print head gasket

Does anyone know anything about the gasket between the dampers and the print head on a mutoh 1624? I've been told this may be my problem with missing ink channels, but I dont have any experience with the gasket. Is it a part that can be changed or is it just made onto the printhead? Is there a way to test and see if this is the problem? I've been fighting this thing for a week now, just not sure what to do next. Thanks for all your help!

I've never seen a gasket be a problem on an Epson print head. The manifold is another story and if you're not careful when removing or replacing dampers, you can break or crack the manifold which will create an air leak. Sometimes you can see the crack if you clean off the manifold or feel it if it's severe.
I've replaced manifolds on DX4 heads, but not on the 8 channel heads.
