Mutoh Resale?

My question is:
What do you think a Mutoh VJ-1204, 48", in GREAT shape, only 1 1/2 years old will sell for?
Also, a Graphtec CE5000-120, GREAT condition same age.
Just looking for some ideas. Thanks.

Depends on who you sell it to, and what they know or don't know.

*I was baffled when I recntly saw a refurb. FJ-50 converted to solvent ink sell for nearly $8,000 on ebay.
In the same breath, you can buy a brand new 1204 from SW for $8995 with warranty.

50% of new; use as the justifcation the pawn shop model. They typically give 25% of new and price it at 50%.

Just sold May 30, $4795 and that one had a take-up reel.

Seems about right; 50% of new.

I run across the 48" models all the time priced $4000 - $5000 in good working condition. Saw one that had been sitting unplugged for a year that needed a complete rebuild sell for $1200 a couple of months back.
