Mutoh troubleshooting

Hi everyone,

My name is Ludo, I'm from Nouméa, New Caledonia (Yes, I'm a Frenchman!)
and I'm having some trouble with my Mutoh VJ 1604 since it doesn't spit ink anymore!!!
the print head isn't clogged though and my ink lines and dampers are full...
I think it must be some electronic problem.
Anyone with me on this?!!

If the head stopped printing suddenly and completely, it is most likely a blown fuse. If the head slowly started to print worse and worse and eventually stopped printing all together, the maintenance station needs to be replaced.

The first think go check would be the fuses.

Hi everyone,
Thank you for your concern, it actually was a blown print head fuse...
however, after we've changed it, another problem occured:
it looks like the head print some pink stripes/smears!!!
Another electronical problem do you think???

Its problem of the head cables or the printhead itself. Check the ends if they're bended and produce a sort cicuit. Otherwise your head is broken.
