Mutoh Valuejet 1204 thin lines and stopping

Recently we had our Mutoh Valujet 1204 printhead and motherboard replaced by a Mutoh Technician, but as of 2 weeks later we are getting the same problem we had before. We start printing a job and we see about a foot into the job some real sketchy lines of cyan,magneta,yellow, black. They don't look like smudges but almost like computer generated thin lines. Then about a ways into the job it stops and reels out about another foot and then starts printing a really smudged unrecognizable version of the job. Can anybody please tell me what could be the problem. Is it electrical, a rip problem? I don't knw but work is backing up and its REALLY slowing down production.

Call the Tech back and have him FINISH nthe job you paid him for...

I had streaks as you described they happened intermittantly and it went on for a very long time. I bought a new wiper blade (The old one appeared to have no wear on it..) Went I go to change it - pulling up on it, I couldn't get it out so I went to a knowledgebase to get directions on how to change. (when in doubt - read the instructions!)
Something came up and I put off changing it out. Amazingly, the streaks never appeared again. Ever.
My conclusion: the wiper blade must have gotten pushed down below a point of contact w the head and there was no wipin' goin' on!
