So I replaced my printhead a few months ago, and ever since, I’ve been fighting a ghosting/possible static issue. My nozzle check is perfect and maintenance station was replaced 6 months ago. I get roller marks on the material. It doesn’t happen directly after the vinyl moves through the rollers, but more so around the last pass of the printhead or so and they’ll appear. I have removed the rollers and soaked them in isopropyl alcohol, Added a humidifier and I purchased some anti static cords the are above and below the vinyl before it enters the machine, and also purchased some anti static spray. This happens on different types of material also.
I hear a slight rubbing of the carriage on top of the roller arms while printing. Could that be creating extra static or pressure on the vinyl? Then attracting ink overspray? I’m lost with this issue.
thank you
