Mutoh VJ1204 cabinet color?

I'm no Mutoh expert, but I went and looked at another Mutoh 1204 today and it has a black cabinet. All others I've seen have a light grey cabinet. Does anyone know what the difference in cabinet color means?

All I can tell you is that it is an older model 1204, at lease 4 or 5 years old and probably older. Maybe some one here who has one can tell you more.

The black plastics most likely mean that it is a 1204AS. The 1204AS is a signwarehouse private labeled printer, Mutoh will not directly support the unit.
