Mutoh VJ1624 Banding

I have a banding issue that is very noticable on the blue fade that I'm printing that's 130" long. I have made sure my feed rate is adjusted properly and have tried the effects "fine & fuzzy, fine & wave" as well as different heat levels, but it still seems to band on me. Some of the banding is tight (about 1/4") and some is loose (about 2"). We aren't sure what else to do, so I'm trying to reach out to someone who might know any answers/tricks. Sorry the photos aren't that great, it's hard to get a good shot of it, but I tried! Thanks for any help!!!

Did you build your "fade" aka gradient in Illustrator? Banding is tough with gradients.

Is it banding in solid colors?
