Nail Polish uses?

I heard from a guy that it was a good edge sealer, at least better because of price over the seal it pen.
Is it really a good edge sealer, or should I go with strips of lam?
Seems to me it would be easier to use nail polish and go around the design rather than cutting and splicing pieces of lam.

Thoughts?
Favorite Brand?
Colors or just clear?

You can use clear nail polish on vehicle pinstripes too to keep the small edges down, My Dad taught me that.

I really don't think nail polish would last the lifetime of a wrap, but it is a real good loctite for nuts and bolts!

This theory always baffles me. Why would you think laminate has more adhesive power than the vinyl itself? Simply silly, and looks bad.

Personally I'd just use a sealit pen if I felt like I needed to seal the edges because #1 they are not that expensive and #2 I'd trust the longevity of the sealits "clear coat" a lot longer than a product designed to only be on nails for a couple weeks. The polish might work fine but I'd rather not take a risk on a expensive vehicle job when we're only talking pennies here.
