National Facilities Direct Corporation (NFDC), anyone dealt with them?

Was contacted by a Jacob at NFDC about sign work at a local AMC Theater that had some stop signs damaged by Hurricane Milton. I went out to do a site survey and met with the theater manager. I can tell that whomever out up the last batch of Stop signs in the parking lot really cheaped out and that is why most of the signs got damaged. They used round galvanized fence posts to mount 0.040" Stop signs. The wind just whipped them back and forth and eventually ripped the signs right off the bolts. Some posts are broken or missing so I am quoting U-Channel posts instead of the round ones. Plus using 0.080" signs instead.

My main concern is I read some reviews of the company, headquartered in NYC, and it is either 5 stars or 1 star - no in between. I am planing on submitting my quote later today but would love to hear is anybody here has dealt with them.

Thanks in advance.

Those 5 star reviews are all fake/bought. I'd be weary if I was you, seems like the only real ones are the 1 star reviews and they all have the same theme...............shady.

Good luck.

based on their reviews... I'd say 100% payment upfront. Those gal steel round posts are great but get a bracket that fits around it for the sign. 080 is the right choice.
