Need Help with my Valujet 1604

[SAFASTRO]

We're getting a perfect nozzle test pattern, but have banding like crazy!

Here's what we've done

- completely removed maintenance station. Cleaned all parts and looks like brand new now. Capping station is only 6 - 8 months old

- swabbed t-fence

- swabbed PF Encoder

- am able to pull ink thru both drain tubes under capping station.

Could it be a head alignment issue? What steps, in order, should I do first?

the green swatch looks like a heat issue...not enough heat IMO but try to lower/raise it to test...also looks like cyan has a bit of banding...maybe show a nozzle test?

you said the nozzle check looks great. Have you replaced the dampers?

If nozzle check pattern is perfect, this is most likely a profile or media issue
