need idea for a temporary work table

Not a newbie
Ok, I have two 30inX72in folding table. I would like to somehow make a 60inX96in top with a cutting mat on it. The problem is I would like to cut the top in half for easy transport but would like to stay flat for premask larger peices.

Any idea? Thanks.

As a retired cabinet maker.
Get 13 ply plywood, cut to size.
Glue biscuits to one side only.
Also use draw tights.
